Doomscrolling

Anyone who is looking for work, either as a freelancer or searching for a new fulltime job, knows a version of this story. I had a thought about how to make that experience a short film and made this. Hours are spent on LinkedIn connecting with existing connections and searching for new connections, and everyone has “advice” for doing it. Frequently, the advice amounts to: you have to try something unique, step away and take a break, etc. But really, that doesn’t change anything. It’s a flawed system that requires people to constantly raise their hand and say I’m here. Maybe someday there will be a smarter, more productive system. Until then, I’m available for freelance projects.
